The Spence T. Brennan Foundation has been established by Spence's family, friends and colleagues to commemorate his life and career. The dedication he demonstrated throughout his career with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP), his need to always be learning and his love of golf have provided the perfect way by which to thank and commemorate him.

The proceeds of the annual Spence T. Brennan April Fools Open Golf Tourney fund the scholarships. Named in honor of Spence's April 1st birthday the golf tourney has a bit of a fun foolish side! We have many, many friends and sponsors to recognize and thank for their continued generous support.
